Who holds your data
Afterimage Software
Contact: hello@afterimage-dev.com
What we collect
- Your email address. From checkout, or from Google if
you sign in that way. It identifies your account and is how we tell you
if your world is taken.
- Your listing. Product name, website, tagline,
category, logo, links and anything else you type into your page. This
is public by design.
- Purchases. What you paid, for which world, and when.
Card details never reach us — Stripe handles those.
- If you sign in with Google: your Google account
identifier, email and avatar. We do not store your Google display name.
- Visits to product pages. Recorded against a
hashed IP address, so we can count visitors without keeping
the address itself.
- Gameplay figures. Time played, distance flown, and
similar, tied to your call sign.
Cookies
One cookie, for staying signed in. It is strictly necessary and carries
no tracking.
Our analytics are self-hosted and do not use cookies or follow you
across sites, which is why you are not being asked to accept anything.
Why we are allowed to hold it
- To perform our contract with you — your account,
your listing, your purchase.
- Legitimate interests — keeping the service working,
preventing abuse, and counting visitors in aggregate.
- Legal obligation — keeping records of sales.
Who else sees it
- Stripe — payments. They receive your email and
payment details.
- Resend — sending email. They receive your address
and the message.
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with it.
- Our hosting provider — the servers this runs on.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Your account and listing history for as long as you have an account.
Sales records for as long as tax law requires. Visit records in aggregate.
Sign-in links expire within minutes and are stored only as a hash.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to
delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within
a month.
Deleting your account does not retract a purchase already made, and your
product page may remain where a world's history depends on it. Tell us if
you want that removed too and we will discuss what is possible.
You can turn off notification emails from any email we send, or from
your product page.
If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to the
Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
